Tomorrow (Thursday) sees the start of the 2015 PDC World Cup of Darts.  This year’s World Cup will be the fifth, and has moved to a new venue, the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.  The entire event is a straight knockout.

For the third successive year, the American pairing will be Darin Young (an ever-present in this tournament) and Larry Butler.  Their first round match will be on Friday evening, where they will face reigning champions, Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld (Netherlands).  A win will leave them facing South Africa or Finland.

We would like to wish Darin and Larry good darts, and good luck, as they attempt to bring home the title of World Cup of Darts Champions!  In 2014, the pair exited the event after a narrow defeat against England.

Good luck also to another ADO player, Paul Lim, who is representing Singapore this weekend.

Here is the complete draw (seedings in brackets) :

England (1) vs Denmark
Japan (16) vs China
Austria (8) vs Czech Republic
Germany (9) vs India
Belgium (5) vs Philippines
Spain (12) vs Norway
Australia (4) vs Russia
Gibraltar (13) vs Italy
Scotland (2) vs Singapore
Sweden (15) vs Hungary
Wales (7) vs Hong Kong
Republic of Ireland (10) vs Poland
