Sadly, Jim Widmayer’s attempt to become the first American to lift the BDO World Trophy was foiled by England’s Brian Dawson on Saturday afternoon.  After three days of superb darts, the Men’s title went to Darryl Fitton, while Lisa Ashton retained the Women’s event.
