It has this morning been announced that the forthcoming Savannah Open (September 29-October 1) has been cancelled.  This is due to a number of factors, and it is hoped to resurrect the tournament in the spring of 2018.  For more information, please check out the website of the Savannah Area Dart Association.

This is a severe blow to the SADA who worked so hard to get reschedule the tournament after having to postpone it earlier in the year.

NOTE : It appears that the ADO was being criticized on social media for not posting this information sooner, but the first we heard of the issues was late last night, and that was based solely on rumors.  The Board of the SADA met last night to discuss the tournament, and as mentioned above, we received official notification just a few minutes ago.
