As most of you will know, we are continuing to make changes to the ADO website in order to make it more user-friendly, and to make many of our procedures easier and more efficient for everyone.  Unfortunately, with the renaming of some of the pages and features, it appears that some individuals aren’t too sure what everything is, and how to do things.  Here is a quick rundown of tabs and pages.

RANKINGS
Links to current ADO Rankings, BDO Rankings, and WDF Rankings.

CALENDAR
Links to upcoming ADO tournaments, tournament results, ADO National Qualifiers, BDO tournaments, and WDF tournaments.

BDO/WDF
Information about the British Darts Organization and World Darts Federation

HISTORY
Basic history of the ADO, and lists of National Champions.  This is one section that will be greatly expanded.

ADO MEMBERS
Lists of current ADO member clubs and individuals.  There is also a “Club Reports” page which will be used to promote events, results, and achievements at the local level.

ADOYOUTH
A direct link to the ADO Youth website.

DOWNLOADS
All ADO documents, forms, and rules can be downloaded and/or printed from here.

CONTACTS
A list of all current ADO officials with contact details, and the current mailing address of the ADO.

JOIN THE ADO
This is where you can join the ADO online, as a club or as an individual (including youth players).

ADMIN
This is the one that seems to be giving problems.  The Office Administration and ADO Emails links are for use by ADO Board Members and office staff.  The other two sub-menu items allow Regional Directors and Tournament Directors to post information and results using forms and files directly via the ADO website.  Here is a quick explanation of how it works.

REGIONAL DIRECTORS
There are two main links for posting National Qualifier information, and Report National Qualifier results.

National Qualifier Information
This is just an online form to be completed and submitted.  This form is automatically emailed to to several individuals on the ADO Board  of Directors, and will be posted on the website.

Report National Qualifier Results
There are two options here:
1 – PREFERRED: Download the Excel spreadsheet, fill out the relevant information (the first two sheets on the form – ADO NQ Report Form, and ADO NQ Registration – MUST be completed; the others CAN be completed if so desired, or you can attach scans of the bracket sheets).  It may help to avoid confusion if you rename the spreadsheet when completed.
2 – Use your own Excel sheets and submit using the online form on the ADO website.

Payment is then made via paypal at https://www.paypal.me/adodarts or send a check to the ADO P.O. Box (details under CONTACTS).

TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS

Online ADO Tournament Sanctioning Contract
This has been available for several years and has been used with great success.  A simple online form to fill out, when completed, it will direct you to paypal for payment.

Report Tournament Results
This will become mandatory at some point in the future, and will expedite the results process, allowing players to receive their earned ranking points sooner rather than later.  Again, there is an Excel spreadsheet to download/complete, so simply enter the information requested.  Complete the online form on the website, attach the completed Excel sheet, and submit to the ADO.
