updated: 8/09/2010 updated: 8/09/2010

Hi,

My name is Steve Brown, and I am the Area 6 Manager.  After an extended period as Regional Director for Region 6-2, I was persuaded to move up the ADO ladder five years ago.  In addition to my role here, I have also been a full-time professional player for twenty years.  Having spent what seems like a lifetime - 36 years, actually - of dedicating myself to the sport I love, I am still as keen as ever to see darts receiving the recognition it deserves, and anything I can do to help the game and its players, I do.

Although this page is designed to keep you all informed about what is going on in Area 6, and to answer your queries regarding Area business, I will be quite happy to help you with all aspects of your game, including mechanics, strategy etc.  Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or problems.

Thanks for dropping by and checking out the updates below, and I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with my fellow ADO members.

Steve

KFUO FM Radio in St. Louis

I know this is late notice, but I will again be stepping in to co-host Classic Tracks on KFUO FM, St. Louis' only radio station devoted to classical music.  I had been booked for several appearances in January, but I will also be on air tonight (December 29).  As always, the show will feature music from my own collection.

Tonight, we will be looking at the movie music of French composer, Georges Auric.  In addition to numerous French films, he also composed for a number of well-known English productions, such as The Lavender Hill Mob, Passport to Pimlico, and The Titfield Thunderbolt.

Next week's show (Jan 5) will be exploring the music of the modern American composer, David Maslanka.
