It is with great sadness that I report the passing of former ADO National Youth Manager, Bob Archbold.  Bob passed away in hospital this morning after undergoing recent surgery.

A tireless worker in his quest to promote darts – particularly youth darts – Bob was forced to resign as National Youth Manager earlier this year due to illness.  Despite this, he continued to devote his time and efforts to the sport he loved, and his tragic passing at such a young age will leave a void that is unlikely to be filled.  People like Bob Archbold are very few and far between.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob’s wife Candra, his family, and his many, many friends.
