Coronavirus Pandemic and the ADO

By
Updated: March 14, 2020

Although the situation is worsening, new restrictions and policies are being introduced, and these restrictions and policies can vary from state to state, and from city to city.

As it stands, all events being held in Strongsville, Ohio, on the weekend of May 1-3, 2020, are going ahead as planned.  These events are :
ADO World Masters National Finals
ADO National Youth Championships
Cleveland Extravaganza

There are a number of restrictions that are currently in place in Ohio regarding public events and gatherings, but it is anticipated that these will be lifted before the weekend of May 1-3.  Of course, things can change between now and then, but we will continue to monitor the situation, and will keep everybody informed.

As far as other events in the United States hosted by local associations, we are leaving  to the hosting association to decide what course to take. Naturally, some may have no option but to follow local laws and policies.

So far, we have two tournaments that have been affected, but more will undoubtedly follow.

VIRGINIA BEACH CLASSIC (scheduled for March 26-29)
Virginia Beach, VA
This tournament has been postponed, and is rescheduled for October 15-18, 2020.  For more information, please check the TADA website.

GLENN WILDFONG MEMORIAL (scheduled for March 20-22)
Shoreline, WA
This tournament has been cancelled.

In addition, the 2020 WDF Americas Cup (scheduled to be held in Jamaica in July) has been postponed. Once we have a new date, it will be published.

Please continue to check here, as updates will be published as and when we receive information.
