Leonard Gates produced a series of brilliant performances to capture his second World Seniors Darts Tour event of the year! Gates added the JenningsBet World Seniors Darts Masters to the JenningsBet Champion of Champions he won back in March.

As he did in Blackpool, ‘Soulger’ again faced Richie Howson in the final. This time, the American averaged over 90 as he stormed to an impressive victory by a score of 6 sets to 2. A nice 12-darter put Gates two sets ahead before Howson fought back to win two of the next three sets. Sadly for the Englishman, that was as close as he was going to get, and Gates took the next three sets to lift the title.

In the earlier rounds, the Texan had some great battles with Mark Dudbridge, Chris Mason (which went to a last-set decider), and Robert Thornton.
