Gary Anderson stole the headlines tonight with a superb 10-6 defeat of Gerwyn Price. Both players averaged over 100 (it was the Welshman’s third ton-plus in a row), but it was Anderson’s superior finishing that made the difference.

Luke Humphries posted a 105.42 in his 10-7 victory over Ryan Searle. Surprisingly, Humphries’ highest check was only 68, while his opponent had a trio of three-figure outs. The other two winners tonight were Josh Rock and James Wade.

Remember, Virginia’s Stowe Buntz opens the proceedings tomorrow night against Andrew Gilding.
