2024 ADO Winmau-Fleetwood Memorial Las Vegas Open – Saturday Preview

We’re getting ready for the action to commence at the Tuscany Suites and Casino. Traditionally, the first events on the Saturday are the cricket doubles events. Not this year! As we have seen a major restructuring this year, we kick off in style with the WDF ranked Youth events, followed by the Gold Singles senior events! Women start shortly (10am local time), with the men taking to the boards an hour later.

We will be posting updates during the day, and of course, you can watch live action from the featured board thanks to USA Darts at https://www.youtube.com/@USADarts/streams, and you can follow live scoring from all the matches at DartConnect!

The boys and girls are currently battling it out, and as I said, you can follow on DartConnect.

A quick review of last night’s frivolities is highlighted by the fact that we had a HUGE turnout. While we expected (and needed) a bigger field, this has exceeded our wildest expectations. First event was the Cricket Singles, and Robbie Mills took the title over the border to Canada with a 3-1 triumph over local favorite Brandon Perez. The women’s trophy also left the country (for England), with the legendary Fallon Sherrock besting Anne Holcombe. Finally, the impressive pairing of Kaidon Newberry and Patrick Kithi won for the home nation, edging out Ross Snook and Kyle Gill.

So, grab your coffee, get yourselves seated and enjoy a fantastic day of darts!
