It is with a very heavy heart that I report the passing of two long-time ADO legends; Dieter Schutsch, and Frank Hernandez. Both were taken from us yesterday, April 30.

Dieter moved here from Germany in the 1990’s, and went on to represent the US in the 1999 WDF World Cup in South Africa, and four years later, lifted the 501 National Championship.

Frank was a staple of NorCal darts, and with his great friend, Chris Peake, formed one of the country’s most lethal doubles teams. In 2000, he represented the US in the BDO World Masters.

Two great players, and more importantly, two great people.

Rest in peace, boys…
