2025 WDF World Masters – Day Three
The 2025 WDF World Masters drew to a close, with the US still seeking its first ever male champion. Tennessee’s Jason Brandon’s brave run ground to a halt against Dutchman Jimmy van Schie. The current World #1 was on top form as he stormed to a 6-1 victory against Brandon. A couple of missed doubles could have made a difference, but it wasn’t to be.
In the final, van Schie faced Canada’s Jeff Smith, who had earlier beaten England’s Cliff Prior. However, Smith suffered the same fate as Jason Brandon, and was destined to finish runner-up.
Scotland’s Lorraine Hyde captured the women’s title after a tie-breaker against Norway’s Rachna David. The youth titles went to Scotland’s Mitchell Lawrie, and Rebecca Allen (Ireland).
