2025 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts Preview

Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the start of the 2025 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts. The week-long tournament takes place at the WV Active in Wolverhampton, deep in the heart of England’s ‘Black Country’.

The 32-player field includes one American, North Carolina’s Alex Spellman. Regardless of results, this should be a great warmup for Spellman, who next month returns to the UK for the PDC World Championship.

The Grand Slam of Darts features eight round-robin groups, with the Top Two from each advancing to a knockout stage. Spellman was drawn in Group A, alongside top-seeded Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall, and former World Champion, Michael Smith. Alex takes to the stage tomorrow night against World #1 Humphries. The later group games are scheduled according to the results of the opening games.
